Compared to Apple’s own AirTags, which retail at £28 each, the Tile Mate offers excellent value for money. Plus, it can even be used inside luggage – perfect for keeping track of your belongings during summer getaways.
Boasting IP67 water resistance, the Tile Mate also allows users to enlist the help of the secure and anonymous Tile Network to locate their items. However, for Android users, the choice is obvious as the Apple AirTag can’t be used with those devices. It’s worth noting that Tile charges an additional £2.99 per month or £29.99 per year for features that are available for free on the AirTag.
This includes looking at a 30-day history location and getting a notification to your phone each time you leave without your Tile tracker. But if you want to save those precious pennies, the Tile Mate might be a brilliant purchase for your holidays or to track your valuables.
