Several Bollywood celebs have lauded Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, and now joining the bandwagon is Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. The film is currently streaming on Disney + Hotstar.
Alia Bhatt lauds Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar starrer 12th Fail; says, “One of the most beautiful films I have seen in a while!”
Alia took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to express her thoughts about the movie. She shared a poster of 12th Fail and wrote, “One of the most beautiful films I have seen in a while! With such fabulous performances.. Just too too too beautiful!!!! (red heart emojis). @vikrantmassey you were SO SO spectacular I am in awe! @medhashankr heart and soul of Manoj’s journey.. so special and fresh and all things heartwarming! @anantvjoshi outstanding! 12th Fail is based on the life of the real-life IPS (Indian Police Service) officer Manoj Kumar Sharma. It told the story of the obstacles he faced in achieving his goal to be an IPS officer by never giving up. The film is adapted from author Anurag Pathak’s book of the same name, which tells the story of Sharma.
12th Fail also stars Medha Shankar as Massey’s love interest along with Sanjay Joshi, Anant V Joshi and Anshumaan Pushkar
On the professional front, Alia was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani opposite Ranveer Singh. The Karan Johar directorial also featured Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. She will next be seen in Vasal Bala’s directorial Jigra. The film is a joint production of Alia Bhatt’s production house and Dharma productions.
