Ajit Pawar, leader of the breakaway NCP, is known for his sharp sense of humour which has even got him into controversies earlier. He showed his lighter side yet again while delivering a speech at Pimpri Chinchwad last week. The local NCP office bearers had kept a dholak player on the stage to play it whenever Ajit made any interesting comment in his speech. While speaking, Pawar mentioned that some of his supporters have stayed with him for the last 25 years. The artist took this as a cue and began drumming, leading Pawar to quip, “You don’t need to stay with me, you keep quiet”.
