Casting is often a tedious and drawn-out procedure. However occasionally, before they even start writing, a writer may know precisely who they want, or a great audition can inspire the creation of an entirely new character. During an exclusive interview with india.com, we asked actor Adah Sharma if roles are being written for her too, especially after the success of Kerala Story. Adah, who was recently seen in the Netflix series ‘Sunflower 2‘ and ‘Bastar,’ revealed that she hoped that roles would be written for her, especially with the cue of work she has in her pipeline.

Adah said, “I also feel like when you’ve written a role and then you have a person who is coming to play it toh kabhi kabhi aap kuch changes banate ho kyuki yeh person play kar raha hai yeh character, maybe she can do this, this and add this to it (So sometimes when you’ve written a role and then this person is playing this character so you make some changes because maybe she can do this, this and add this to it).”

Toh I’ve noticed ki woh bhi ho raha hai jo ek bohot cool cheez hai makers ki bhi. Let’s try making her do this and that toh woh bohot achi baat hai. I would like to hope so and I hope that continues definitely (So I’ve noticed that that is also happening which is a very cool thing for the makers too. Let’s try making her do this and that is a great thing. I would like to hope so and I hope that continues definitely), ” she added.

In the past year, Adah Sharma has cemented her role as an actor starring in films that are associated with politics. She experienced a kind of resurgence with the breakthrough accomplishment in ‘The Kerala Story.’ Adah teamed with the director Sudipto Sen again for ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story.’

She then appeared in the second season of the dark comedy Sunflower, two weeks before the premiere of Bastar. Adah Sharma brings her charisma as Rosie Mehta to the ensemble, while Sunil Grover returns to his mysterious and humorous role as Sonu Singh. As the story advances, a romantic relationship between Sonu and Rosie develops, changing the course of the plot.
