The Reddit user shared the image in the United Airlines thread.

The post was titled: ‘Odd trivia question.’

‘I open trivia on the back of my chair to this “lovely” trivia question. I don’t know about you but I feel someone needs to go scrub the trivia question list and take out some that don’t age well,’ the anonymous user said.

The question read: ‘Who was Hitler’s favorite actress?’

The four different response options included Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Shirley Temple and Gloria Swanson.

The Reddit user did not include the answer to the trivia question.

The unique question sparked a flood of controversy as people flocked to the comments section to slam the airline.

One person said: ‘Don’t age well? Was there a time in the history of in-flight trivia games where asking about Hitler’s favorite actress wasn’t cringy, at best?’

Another user added: ‘Yeah, it’s odd but I doubt United will remove it.’

Other people on the web claimed that the question fit right in with the current state of the world, as they even dragged political parties into the mix and compared Hitler’s control to President Elect Donald Trump.

‘Well given the time we live in,’ someone else commented.

Another person wrote: ‘I’d say it’s pretty relevant today considering everything.’

‘Is this United or Trump Air??’ one user added.

A spokesperson for United Airlines told DailyMail.com: ‘We are working with our third-party game vendor to have this question removed.’

The references to Trump come after he made a shocking political comeback on November 5 and garnered 277 Electoral College votes, leaving a red wave across the nation.

The 78-year-old has already started shaping up his second administration as Republicans are set to take full control over Congress with the trifecta of the White House, Senate and House.

Trump’s win has sparked a mix of emotions across the countries as Democrats have been taking to social media to protest his second term by boycotting men and donning blue bracelets.

Even Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s daughter Caroline put her political stance on full display as she publicly disagreed with her dad’s opinions and made a dig at Trump.
