It’s surely the ultimate hotel for gamers.
In Osaka, Japan, a hotel called ‘e-Zone’ encourages guests to indulge in hours of streaming sessions in an ‘environment you can’t experience anywhere else’.
The interior can only be described as a gamer’s paradise. The first three floors are dedicated entirely to e-sports (electronic sports) and are kitted out with over 70 PCs and gaming chairs, enticing customers to ‘play all day’.
The first two floors are open spaces, lit with red LED lights and containing back-to-back rows of PC monitors. It is in these areas that tournaments are often held with games displayed on large ceiling monitors.

The third floor is home to PCs available for both individuals and groups to use. Also known as the ‘blue-based flour’, guests are encouraged to game in a way that suits their ‘play style’.
Once they’ve finished gaming, guests can recharge in small ‘capsule’ rooms. The hotel offers 87 capsules, including 78 male-only and nine women-only rooms.
The hotel offers a standard cabin with a bed width of 100cm for 4,000 yen (£21.17/$27.04) per night. And a premium cabin for 8,000 yen (£42.36/$54.09) with a bed width of 150cm. Both types have access to shower facilities.

The eighth floor is a designated women-only cabin floor. According to the hotel’s website, it is designed for ‘female users to use safely and comfortably’.
Alongside its capsules, the hotel offers three private rooms built to accommodate eight people. Each room comes with high-spec gaming PCs, a bed for each person, and a shower with an amenity kit.
Guests can choose between a two-bed private room, priced at 16,000 yen (£84.73/$108.22) per night, or a four-bed private room at 32,000 yen (£169.42/$216.44) per night.
For those who don’t fancy spending the night, the hotel’s gaming facilities are still available to book. Prices start at 350 yen (£1.85/$2.37) per hour.
For an enhanced gaming experience, various equipment is available to rent from LED keyboards and ‘ultra-fast’ gaming mice to Razer gaming glasses that block blue light rays.
