Speaking about their kiss becoming a talking point, Tanushree told Filmgyan that Emraan has always been an actor for her from day 1. She mentioned that they did 3 films together and they had also shot for a kissing scene in their 2005 film Chocolate but the makers didn’t keep it.
She then went on to say that it was very awkward to kiss Emraan for the first time. The second time, the awkwardness was reduced because in real life, they didn’t have any chemistry with each other.

“He does have a kisser-boy image, but he is not the most comfortable kisser. And neither am I,” Tanushree added. Despite the controversy, the scene in Aashiq Banaya Aapne is remembered as a defining moment in both Tanushree and Emraan’s careers.
This marked one of Emraan’s early ventures into bold and intimate scenes, contributing to his ‘Serial Kisser’ image in the industry. Emraan made his debut in 2003 with Footpath but rose to fame with his role in
Murder (2004).
With his unconventional film choices, Emraan has built a reputation for portraying intense and bold characters. Tanushree, on the other hand, left the film industry more than a decade ago. She is now trying to make a comeback into films.
