Need somewhere to go for dinner this weekend? We have you covered, from a restaurant with a new, spicy Yunnan mushroom menu to a speedy short lunch experience at crowd favourite Mosu, to a bar serving a luxurious cocktail that comes with caviar.

1. A Yunnan mushroom menu at Chilli Fagara

It is mushroom season in Yunnan, southwest China, and Sichuan restaurant Chilli Fagara has come up with a spicy menu in appreciation of the seasonal fungi. On the menu are dishes such as wok-fried porcini and Yunnan pepper with dried chilli, and mala mixed mushrooms with chicken clay pot.

2. The four-course Lite Lunch at Mosu

Hong Kong’s offshoot of the three-Michelin-starred Mosu in South Korea has come up with a new four-course menu (HK$680/US$87) for those tight on time but who still wish to sample its innovative food. The menu features dishes such as the Korean galbi short rib with cast iron pot rice.

3. The Green Door’s BD (Business Development) menu

Lively New York-style bar The Green Door has launched a cocktail and bar snacks menu that is exclusively for happy hour, from 5pm to 7pm daily. Food includes spinach dip and bagel chips, and Chinatown chicken nuggets drizzled in a honey garlic sauce.

Headlining the cocktails is the Olga, a blend of vodka, white wine and lychee liqueur that is topped with a huge dollop of caviar.

4. A summer menu at Tirpse

The French-Japanese restaurant Tirpse, in the K11 Musea shopping centre, has launched a six-course summer menu packed with flavours to match the season. Dishes include foie gras with vermouth and calamansi pickled bamboo mushrooms, and chargrilled A4 Omi Wagyu with a creamy peppercorn sauce.

Zzura is showing films every Wednesday and Sunday.

5. Zzura’s Summer Cinema Series

Middle Eastern diner Zzura is turning its private dining room into a theatre every Wednesday and Sunday. A mini bottle of champagne and a bag of popcorn will be provided to each ticket (HK$180) holder.

Each day, there are two sessions to join, and this weekend The Notebook is playing – definitely one for the romantics.
