ZEE5 has released the trailer for its new crime drama Crime Beat, directed by Sudhir Mishra and Sanjeev Kaul. Starring Saqib Saleem as a rookie crime journalist, the series also features Saba Azad, Rahul Bhat, Sai Tamhankar, Danish Hussain, and Rajesh Tailang. Based on Somnath Batabyal’s book The Price You Pay, the show delves into a world of secrets, power, and investigative risks. Crime Beat premieres on ZEE5 on February 21.

Crime Beat follows a rookie crime journalist who stumbles upon a lead about a fugitive gangster’s return to India. As his investigation gains momentum, he finds himself entangled in a web of deceit and hidden agendas. With his morals, relationships, and life at stake, he must decide how far he’s willing to go for the truth. The series delves into the intersection of law enforcement, media, and the underworld, promising a gripping watch.
