Hina Khan became popular with her role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She made the character iconic and Akshara is still a fan favourite. Today, she dropped the news on her social media account stating that she has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and she is determined to fight it with all her strength.

Hina Khan started the post by writing that she would like to address the rumours surrounding her lately. She revealed it to all the Hinaholics (her fans) that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Further she added that she is doing well and the treatment has already begun. She wrote, “Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.” Further, she demanded that her fans and well-wishers respect her privacy during this time. She also added that the personal experiences and supportive suggestions from those who love her would mean the world to her. Hina Khan is quite positive and remains determine to overcome this challenge and become completely healthy. As the news made it to social media, a lot of people extended support.
Ankita Lokhande commented on the post and wrote, “Hina u r stronger than this that’s it girl!!!
