Pratiksha and Shehzada have maintained silence on the matter. Cast members of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai including the older ones were asked about the termination of the two actors recently at the Iftaar bash hosted by Rajan Shahi, the producer of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa. Shivangi Joshi was also asked about the same.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Shivangi Joshi reacts to termination of Shehzad Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe’s contracts
At Rajan Shahi’s Iftaar bash, Shivangi Joshi was asked about a lot of things from Barsatein to the ouster of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and more. Reacting to the incident on the sets of YRKKH, the actress says that she has no idea about what the situation was, that is, what exactly happened. “Bina puri baat jaane uspe comment karna theek nahi hoga,” She tells TellyChakkar while wishing all the luck to everyone. Shivangi is such a sweetheart to graciously answer the question even if she refused to really comment on it.

Reports state that Shehzada started throwing tantrums on sets since day 1. He would ask everyone to call him sir on set. It is said that Shehzada also influenced Pratiksha Honmukhe. There have been reports of romance budding between the two co-stars. Shehzada and Pratiksha reportedly fell in love and would spend a lot of their time together in the make-up room which stalled the shoots. It is said that they were given warnings as well. The actors from the sets revealed that it was a pile-up of things after which Rajan Shahi decided to take action.
