Ever since the tech giant Xiaomi entered the auto space, it has created a buzz in the market. Now, the comapny is gearing up to spread its wings worldwide, and planning to boost its EV production in 2025.
The company has received an overwhelming response for its first EV SU7, which has retailed over 10,000 units in China in the first 32 days of official delivery.
Target
It has been reported that the company had a target of selling 60,000 units of EVs in 2024. But, somehow it managed to deliver over 135,000 units of the SU7 by the end of 2024. Seeing the response of its tech-loaded EV, Xiaomi decided to double the sales figures in 2025.
Production
In case you are not aware, the newly introduced Xiaomi SU7 EV is being manufactured at Xiaomi latest facility in China’s in Beijing. It has been reported that the plan is capable of producing 300,000 units per year.
Battery and Range
The four-door sedan is equipped with a 73.6 kWh battery setup that offers maximum range 668 km CLTC on a single charge. It has been claimed that the model can reach 0-100 km/h in just 5.3 sec, and has a top speed of 210 km/h.
Xiaomi YU7
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has recently introduced its another EV named YU7. It is is an SUV that is likely to go on sale in its homeland somewhere in the 2025. Some reports suggested that if YU7 gets the same response as SU7, the company might enhance its production capacity this year.
