Xiaomi 14T IMDA listing
The IMDA listing (spotted by MySmartPrice) shows the phone’s model number as 2406APNFAG. This is confirmed to be the Xiaomi 14T by a recent IMEI listing.
So that suggests Xiaomi 14T’s global launch is in the cards. However since the Xiaomi 13T series debuted in September 2023, there may still be some months before the new phone sees the daylight.
The IMDA certification doesn’t reveal anything else. So, let’s revise what its predecessor brought to the table:
Xiaomi 13T specifications
- Display: Xiaomi 13T has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with Dolby Vision, 144Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
- Processor: The phone runs on a 4nm Mediatek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC.
- Cameras: The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP+50MP+12MP troika. The front camera has a 20MP sensor.
- Software: It boots with Android 13 but can be upgraded to Android 14.
- Battery: The internals also include a 5,000mAh cell with 67W fast charging support.
Now, the 13T Pro shared some of these specs like the same battery size, screen, and cameras. Now from the Xiaomi 14T Pro’s rumoured details, we know the phone could have a 5,500mAh cell, a 50MP+8MP+2MP triplet, and a dedicated X7 display chip. The 14T Pro is also said to have an upgraded Dimensity 9300+ chip.
We’ll have to wait and see which of these specs and upgrades the Xiaomi 14T gets.
