WWE Money in the Bank 2024 full card and predictions

Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight for the United States Championship

Shane: If there was ever a time to pull the championship off of Logan Paul and put it onto LA Knight, now is the time. This would have made more sense a few months ago obviously since I really do think LA isn’t nearly as hot as he was this time last year, but I guess beggars can’t be choosers.
Winner: LA Knight

Patrick: It’s long past time to put a title, any title, on LA Knight. Logan Paul has been a great champion and has no doubt gotten extra eyes on WWE, but Knight has been the unsung hero of WWE for years and it’s time to reward that. Who’s walking out of Cleveland with the United States Championship? With EVERYBODY SAYIN’…
Winner: LA Knight

Jay: It’s LA Knight’s time. It’s been his time for over a year but now it’s here. He’s done a great job of keeping himself over and it’s time for him to be rewarded.
Winner: LA Knight

Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship

WWE SummerSlam 2024 card, start time, how to watch

Shane: I think I’ve bet against Sami in every defense since he won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania and he has somehow managed to walk out of every PLE with the belt. But, this time, I really do think he’s actually losing.
Winner: Bron Breakker

Patrick: I don’t know, I think Sami still walks away with the title here. Breakker has a functionally unlimited ceiling in WWE, but his career has barely even started. There will be plenty of time for titles. I’d love to see Sami hold onto the IC title a bit longer and keep the shine on that belt.
Winner: Sami Zayn

Jay: This is hard. The madder Bron gets the stronger he gets but I think they gave Sami the win last time to cement him as a force and now it’s time for him to do the honors.
Winner: Bron Breakker

Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship

WWE SummerSlam 2024 card, start time, how to watch

Shane: I’m going with Nia on this one. Since her return, I have been pleasantly surprised with how she has handled herself in the ring. Her character work has also improved since her last run. I just think it’s time for Nia to get her flowers. I’m not expecting a long title reign, but a solid few months with Nia as a heel champion on a babyface-heavy SmackDown sounds pretty entertaining to me.
Winner: Nia Jax

Patrick: Nia has been the surprise of the year for me. I did not enjoy her work at all during her first run, but since she’s returned, she has made giant strides in the ring and they seem to be booking her to her strengths. I think it’s time for her to win the title as a heel and give a fresh babyface (maybe a turned Tiffany Stratton?) something to chase.
Winner: Nia Jax

Jay: Bayley is gonna take it. She still has so much fuel in her reign and it’ll mean so much more for Tiffany when she beats her after a longer reign. Nia is minted and doesn’t need the belt so there’s more upside to Bayley winning.
Winner: Bayley

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship

WWE SummerSlam 2024 card, start time, how to watch

Shane: I don’t have all the details worked out in my head, but someway, somehow, a member of the Judgment Day will cost Rhea on Saturday. I’m not sure if it’ll be Dom who turns or if we will see Finn shack up with Liv – hell, it could be the entire group siding with Liv at this point. Either way, Mami won’t be on top when the dust settles this time around.
Winner: Liv Morgan

Patrick: I think “Dirty” Dom will think back to how good he had it with Liv and turn on Mami, giving Morgan the biggest win of her career and finally setting in motion the implosion of the Judgment Day.
Winner: Liv Morgan

Jay: Liv Morgan is going to take it. I feel like it’s too easy for Dom to turn on Rhea at this point and Finn is going to turn. But at the same time, it makes sense for Dom to just turn on Rhea and Finn to cost Damian the belt to set up the Judgment Day Civil War. Either way, Liv is walking out with the title.
Winner: Liv Morgan

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (Special Guest Referee Seth “Freakin” Rollins)

WWE SummerSlam 2024 card, start time, how to watch

Shane: I have no idea how this one will play out. None. This is as close to a coin flip as it gets in my head. But, with a 50.1% lead, I’m going with Punk. This is his first singles match since his return last November – the literal only reason why I’m giving him the edge in this match over Drew.
Winner: CM Punk

Patrick: I’m an unashamed CM Punk mark, but I think Drew has to win this one. Drew has been on the losing end of nearly every high-profile feud he’s been in for a couple years now, and this is the headlining feud of the entire company right now. Sure, it makes sense for Punk to win his first televised singles match in WWE in ten years, but Drew also needs some shine here. I expect some kind of SummerSlam 1997 type finish, where Rollins is forced to make the count after some kind of fucky finish.
Winner: Drew McIntyre

Jay: This is the most interesting match on the card. I can see Punk winning as it is his first one on one since being back. But I love Patrick’s SummerSlam ’97 allusion. I think it’s more important to give Drew the win here to set up a rematch.
Winner: Drew McIntyre

Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship

WWE SummerSlam 2024 card, start time, how to watch

Shane: My head says Gunther, but my gut says Damian. Most expect Gunther to walk into Cleveland on Saturday and destroy Damian Priest to win the World Heavyweight Championship. I’ve been predicting Gunther’s victory since before he was crowned King of the Ring. However, because it’s so expected, WWE might surprise us by keeping the title on Damian, especially with a Berlin show weeks away. While Gunther is a convincing heel, a feel-good moment like winning the world title in front of his hometown country region crowd in Germany would be a fairytale ending for the Ring General.
Winner: Damian Priest

Patrick: I’m pretty much where Shane is. I would much rather Gunther win the World Title here, but I think somehow, some way, by hook or by crook, Priest is walking away with the title here.
Winner: Damian Priest

Jay: Damian has really come into his own as champ and he deserves a longer reign but Finn is going to cost him.
Winner: Gunther

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship

WWE SummerSlam 2024 card, start time, how to watch

Shane: Cody. Don’t care. I’m just here for the return of my Tribal Chief.
Winner: Cody Rhodes

Patrick: We want Roman!
Winner: Cody Rhodes

Jay: Solo should take it as a shocker. Think of the heat. But no, no, Cody will take it. Roman coming back makes sense to start the build to WarGames, but who knows?
Winner: Cody Rhodes
