Who sang it better? Loftus vs Kings Park national anthem [video]

While Durban didnt bring a win for the Springboks, it did bring the sunshine, a sensational national anthem, and support from the crowd at Kings Park Stadium. But how did it compare to Loftus last weekend?

South Africa suffered a devastating 25-24 loss to Ireland in the final minute following last week’s sweet victory. This brings an end to their two-test match series.

WHO SANG IT BETTER? LOFTUS VS KINGS PARK STADIUM

A week after Keabetswe “KB” Motsilanyane sang Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika at Loftus, Joyous Celebration star Ntokozo Mbambo belted out the national anthem at Kings Park Stadium in Durban.

With her smooth vocals and powerful presence, Mbambo had the crowd singing their heart out alongside her.

Take a look at the performance…

On social media, Springbok supporters were divided on which singer and stadium brought the best “vibes.”

@uNhlanhla_n: “She sang, but KB set the standard.”

@Busi_N: “LISTEN! Ntokozo is the girl she thinks she is! Lady can SING, and the crowd didn’t disappoint. Goosebumps for sure!”

@RubyG_Pix: “That one was good, but Loftus is the greatest.”

@DitshegoHloxx: “Kings Park Stadium needs to take notes from Loftus.  The opposition must feel they are playing away”

WHERE WILL SPRINGBOKS PLAY NEXT?

When it comes to playing on home soil, the Springboks have a few test matches left on their schedule.

Next weekend, the Boks will play Portugal at the Toyota Stadium in  Bloemfontein.
