FIITJEE news: One of the well-known educational institutions that the youth of India has heard from their childhood is Forum for Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (FIITJEE). Founded by DK Goyal, an alumnus of IIT Delhi, it became one of the most popular preparation coaching institutions of the country. However, the institute has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in the recent times.
Reports suggest that many teachers who used to teach in FIITJEE resigned due to non-payment of salary from the institute. As a result of the sudden resignations, many coaching centres of FIITJEE were closed, leading to problems for the students who had paid their fees. For those unversed, FIITJEE reportedly runs 73 centres across the country, providing coaching for competitive exams to engineering aspirants.

How FIITJEE was founded
DK Goyal, with a degree in mechanical engineering, founded FIITJEE to assist students in the IIT-JEE admission process. He initially established a modest center in Delhi, where students began achieving success in IIT selections, with some even securing top ranks. This success led to an increase in the center’s popularity.
Parents of students throng closed FIITJEE centres in Noida, Ghaziabad
Parents of students were incensed over an abrupt closure of FIITJEE centres in Noida and Ghaziabad. They went to the firm’s institute in Noida’s Sector 62 on Saturday, raised slogans against the company and demanded the government’s intervention in getting it punished.

Goyal, FIITJEE chief financial officer Rajiv Babbar, chief operating officer Manish Anand and its Greater Noida branch head Ramesh Batlesh have been named in the FIR, a Noida Police spokesperson said.
In Delhi, police launched a probe after more than 250 people accused the FIITJEE’s East Delhi centre of fraudulent practices and mismanagement following the coaching institute’s abrupt shutdown, sources said.
