iQOO Z9 5G launched in India this week with a starting price of Rs 19,999. The smartphone comes with features like the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. A close rival to the iQOO Z9 5G is the POCO X6 5G, which is also a performance-centric phone powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The iQOO Z9 5G has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, flat edges and narrow bezels. The design of the phone resembles some of the earlier iQOO models. On the back, we see dual-camera sensors arranged in a rectangular module and there is also an LED flash.
The phone comes in Brushed Green and Graphene Blue colour options. The former offers a paint brush-like finish and this looks unique compared to other models in the segment. The speaker vents, a USB Type-C port, a SIM tray slot, and a microphone are at the bottom. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.
On the other hand, the POCO X6 5G also has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, slim bezels, and flat edges. On the back, you see a large camera island and this module offers a dual-tone design. The phone houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. There is also the POCO logo.

The iQOO Z9 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,800 nits peak brightness, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 91.90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and DT-Star2 Plus Glass protection.
On the other hand, the POCO X6 5G sports the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2712 x 1220 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1800 nits peak brightness, 12-bit colour depth, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
iQOO Z9 5G vs POCO X6 5G: processor
The iQOO Z9 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC paired with ARM Mali-G610. There is 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card for memory expansion. The phone also has support for 8GB virtual RAM.
On the other hand, the POCO X6 5G ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The device is being offered in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.

In terms of cameras, the iQOO Z9 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, LED flash, f/1.79 and a 2MP bokeh camera. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
