Now, as per the latest report by Pinkvilla, Firoz Nadiadwala, Ahmed Khan, and Akshay Kumar have roped in Jackie Shroff to play a key role in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.
The report further states that Jackie Shroff has been quietly shooting for ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ ever since Sanjay Dutt‘s exit from the film. There has been a twist in the tale as the makers have reworked the character traits and recast some roles. Suniel Shetty will now be playing the role initially written for Sanjay Dutt, while Jackie Shroff has come on board to play the part that Suniel Shetty had originally signed on for.
The report added that the humor for Suniel’s character comes from his machismo, while Jackie shares a very exciting dynamic with the lead roles and is presented in a completely new avatar. The casting change occurred back in December, and Jackie has already shot a considerable amount for his part in the film.
Back in 2023, the film was officially announced with a stellar cast. The announcement video features the cast performing a cappella, offering a glimpse of the humor the film will provide.
