The filmmakers have arranged a scene in the movie where Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR will perform a dance together in a song.
Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film War 2 is already making headlines. Fans were more enthralled when the makers of the film revealed that South’s superstar Jr NTR would also be a part of the film. Now, the latest report claims that the film will have a massive dance number which will be a mix of ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ and ‘Naatu Naatu.’ The reports also claim that the makers have smartly come up with an idea where both the leads will be dancing to catch the number.
According to a source cited by Bollywood Hungama, “It’s going to be Hrithik vs Jr NTR in War 2. But the makers smartly and organically have come up with a situation in the film where the two male leads will be seen dancing to a catchy song. It is composed by Pritam and is considered to be one of the biggest highlights of the film.”
The source further added, “Both Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR are known for their dance moves. Interestingly, both were recently seen in two hero films – Hrithik in War and Jr NTR in RRR. Both films had two hero dance numbers that were unanimously loved (Jr NTR shook a leg with Ram Charan in the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’). For War 2, they both come together and hence, one can expect fireworks on the big screen during their number. It’ll be like ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ meeting ‘Naatu Naatu’!”
The source said both the producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji are clear about the fact that the War 2 is not an action flick, but will have a complete package of entertainment. Songs will play a significant role, not only in promoting the film but also in advancing the storyline. If everything falls into place and if the general public embraces the track warmly, it could not only generate excitement in theatres but also potentially become the ultimate dance anthem in the long term, said the source.
Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, War 2 also features Kiara Advani. The film was produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie will hit the big screens on August 14, 2025.
