Vivo Y58 5G: what’s new
When compared to its predecessor, the Vivo Y58 5G offers a few upgrades in hardware specifications. The Y58 has a bigger (6.72-inch) and smoother (120Hz) display compared to the Y56’s 6.58-inch 60Hz LCD screen.
Besides this, the Y58 also has a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC at the helm than the Y56’s MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It also packs a larger 6,000mAh battery compared to its predecessor’s 5,000mAh cell.
While the Y58’s rear camera setup is the same as its predecessor, its 8MP selfie shooter is a downgrade from the Y56’s 16MP snapper.

The Vivo Y58 5G flaunts a 6.72-inch LCD panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,024 nits of peak brightness. At the heart of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable via a MicroSD card.
The Vivo Y58 5G draws power from a 6,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. It features a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, the Vivo Y58 5G has an 8MP snapper at the front.
It also comes with an IP64 rating (but you shouldn’t use the phone in the rain) and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device boots on Android 14-based Funtouch 14 OS out of the box.
