Vivo Y28s 5G spotted on Geekbench
- Vivo Y28s 5G has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number V2346. This is said to be the global variant of the Vivo Y28s 5G.
- On Geekbench, the Vivo Y28s 5G has scored 599 single-core points and 1,707 multi-core points.
- The Vivo Y28s 5G is running an octa-core processor with a k6835v2_64 motherboard, two performance cores clocked at 2.0GHz, and six efficiency cores at 2.40GHz paired with a Mali G57 GPU. This chipset could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or the Dimensity 6080 processor.
- The Geekbench listing also reveals 8GB RAM and Android 14 for the Vivo Y28s 5G.
The NBTC certification mentions the handset’s name along with the same model number. This confirms the Vivo Y28s 5G launch in Thailand. The smartphone is also expected to launch in India as it has been spotted on the BIS website. With multiple certifications, we should be hearing about the Vivo Y28s 5G soon. However, Vivo has yet to announce the smartphone officially or tease the upcoming device.
The Vivo Y28s would be a new version of the Y28 5G smartphone that launched in India earlier this year in February. It’s not clear whether the ‘s’ model will be an expensive or cheaper variant. For context, the Vivo Y28 5G starts at Rs 13,999 and comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz display. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Vivo Y28 5G features 50MP and 2MP rear cameras and an 8MP front camera. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP54 rating for dust and water protection.
