Vivo Y200 Pro 5G India launch date
- Vivo Y200 Pro 5G is scheduled to launch in India on May 21st. The launch event will take place at 12 noon.
- A teaser image revealing the Vivo Y200 Pro’s design has also been shared by the brand. The smartphone has a curved display with a punch-hole selfie camera. There are two rear cameras at the back, and the phone is seen in a light green colour with a patterned finish.
- Vivo has also confirmed the Y200 Pro 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset.
Vivo Y200 Pro 5G: what we know so far
Based on our previous leak, the Vivo Y200 Pro is said to cost under Rs 25,000 in India. The smartphone is also claimed to arrive as the segment’s slimmest 3D curved display phone. Vivo Y200 Pro is also tipped to feature a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display. The screen size details haven’t been revealed yet. The handset will reportedly feature an anti-shake camera with OIS. It’s also tipped to come with upgrades in night photography and portraits.
There’s speculation that the Vivo Y200 Pro might be a rebrand of the Vivo V29e. This is based on the Google Play Console listing of the smartphone with the model number V2303. The same model number was earlier associated with the Vivo V29e. This smartphone launched in India in August 2023.
This hasn’t been confirmed since we don’t know the Vivo Y200 Pro’s specifications yet. But the Vivo V29e also features the same chipset. It’s interesting to see how Vivo plans to rebrand the V29e as the Y200 Pro.
