The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Chennai has initiated the application process for its Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses, for the year 2024.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for various UG and PG courses being offered by VIT, can apply by May 15, 2024, on the official website of VIT at apply.chennai.vit.ac.in.

The application process for VIT Chennai Admissions 2024 began in November 2023.The institute is offering admission to various courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, BBA (Hons), BCom (Hons), BSc (Hons), along with BTech at the undergraduate level and LLM in post-graduate law courses. Last date to apply is May 15, 2024.

B.Com (Hons) Rs 1,38,000 A pass with a minimum overall aggregate of 75% with Commerce/ Accountancy/ Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.
B.Sc Fashion Design Rs 75,000 A pass in any stream with a minimum overall aggregate of 60% (or) A pass in Diploma (10+3) in Fashion, Textile, Apparel and Garment stream with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate.
B.Sc Computer Science Rs 90,000 A pass in any stream with a minimum overall aggregate of 70% with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying exam.
B.Sc Economics (Hons) Rs 1,70,000 Secured a minimum of 75% in Higher Secondary.
B.Tech Fashion Technology Rs 1,73,000 A pass with a minimum overall aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

VIT Chennai admission 2024 selection process

  • BA LLB/ BBA LLB Admission: Selection is based on CLAT/ LSAT India scores, 12th marks, group discussion, and personal interview.
  • BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.), BTech Admission: Students are selected based on marks in the Higher Secondary School Examination and performance in a personal interview.
  • LLM Programme Admission: Selection depends on the marks secured in the UG degree and performance in a personal interview.
