Vihaan Samat has impressed critics and audiences with his performance in Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL. From the look to the act, Vihaan has been lauded for his performance. Vihaan recently shared how he aced the monologue in the film. While it was a challenge, Vihaan wanted to perform it with utter perfection.
Vihaan Samat says his monologue in Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL was ‘exhausting’ & ‘challenging’: “Locked myself in the room and rehearsed”
He says, “When I read the CTRL script, Joe’s monologue did not exist. The monologue was created as we went along, and it changed into a beast on the course. I shot for it three times. Initially, it was like a talk show situation. It had some humour and interaction. But later, Vikram realized he wanted to take a darker tone with the monologue and again, I relearnt it. At every point, I had the monologue only two days before.”
“I locked myself in the room and rehearsed, got into the zone of someone who was being tracked. Later, Vikram wanted to change the flow of lines again to make the ideas way clearer. The third was the best one. It was very intimate and raw. It was very exhausting and the biggest challenge of my life,” Vihaan added.
Before CTRL, Vihaan received immense love for his performance in Call Me Bae, where he was seen opposite Ananya Panday.
