AN urgent search has been launched for a teenager who has been missing throughout Storm Eowyn.
Chloe Ellis, 14, vanished from Livingston on Thursday morning.
She was last seen in the 8.25am in the Burnsknowe, Deans area of the town.
Concerns are growing for the youngster as she was missing throughout the horror storm that swept through Scotland yesterday.
Chloe is known to travel to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Bathgate.
But cops say she also may have gone to Dunbar in East Lothian.
All of these areas were under the rare red weather warning with the Met Office saying there was a danger to life by the storm.
Police have issued a description in the hopes it can help find her.
She is described as 5’5” with long brown hair.
She was wearing a black leather jacket when she was last seen.
Police Sergeant John Watson said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Chloe and would ask if anyone who knows her whereabouts to get in contact with us.
“She is known to frequent Glasgow, Edinburgh, Livingston and Bathgate.
“She may have travelled to the Dunbar area.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0949 of 23 January, 2025.
The appeal was issued today as the national police force responded to the destruction left by the storm.
Officers were dispatched to nearly 2,000 storm related incidents.
