UPSC CSE Mains 2024 DAF-1 released at upsc.gov.in: Here’s the direct link to apply

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the direct application form I (DAF-I) for the UPSC Civil Service Mains examination 2024. Candidates who qualified in the prelims round will now be able to check the DAF and apply for the Mains examinations on the official website of the UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
The applications for CSE Mains 2024 have already begun on the website.Qualified candidates must apply again in the detailed application Form-I for the Main Examination. The application window is open till July 12, 2024, 6 PM. The Commission stated on its website, “Candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the above website before filling up the ONLINE DAF-I.”
UPSC has clearly mentioned in the official notification that any delay in submission of the DAF-I or documents in support beyond the prescribed date will not be allowed and lead to disqualification of the candidate for the CSE-2024. Check the official notice here.

UPSC CSE Mains 2024 DAF-1 : How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at ‘upsc.gov.in’
Step 2: Click on the ‘UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination DAF’ link in the ‘What’s new’ section of the home page.
Step 3: Click on the link to access the online portal for DAF I.
Step 4: Enter the login information, i.e., the UPSC roll number and date of birth.
Step 5: The UPSC Mains DAF-1 will open. Complete each module of this form carefully by providing educational and other relevant details.

UPSC had announced the civil services preliminary examination results on July 1 2004. After the declaration of the result, qualified candidates are required to clear the Mains round which consists of a written examination and a personality test. As per the UPSC calendar, the Civil Services Mains Examination 2024 is tentatively scheduled for September 20, 2024.
