The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of the Civil Services Mains Examination (CSE) today, December 8, 2023.

UPSC CSE Mains 2023 Result Date: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of the Civil Services Mains Examination (CSE) today, December 8, 2023. IAS aspirants who have appeared for the mains examination can check and download the UPSC CSE Mains Result 2023 by visiting the official website at www.upsc.gov.in. The Commission will release a PDF that will consist of a detailed list mentioning roll numbers of candidates who have been declared successful in the test.

“Candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their eligibility/reservation claims viz. age, educational qualifications, community, economically weaker section, Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and other documents such as TA Form, etc. at the time of their Personality Test (Interview),” the Commission in an official notification said.

  • Dates of Personality Tests (Interviews) of these candidates will be notified in due course, which will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.
  • The Personality Tests (Interviews) Schedule will be made available accordingly.
  • The e-Summon Letters of Personality  Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available in due course, which may be downloaded from the Commission’s Website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in.
  • The candidates, who may not be able to download their e-Summon Letters, should immediately contact the office of the Commission through letter or on Phone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125, 011-23098543 or Fax No. 011-23387310, 011-23384472 or by email on ([email protected]). No paper Summon Letters will be issued for the Personality Tests (Interviews) by the Commission.

This examination is one of three stages of exams that are conducted for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, and other civil services. Qualified candidates will have to appear for the Mains examination.

All the candidates, who qualified for the Personality Tests (Interviews), are required to fill and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) mandatorily. The result of 28 candidates having Roll Nos. 0832558, 0839943, 0204205, 0802005, 0807458, 0818539, 0858443, 0225447, 5300257, 5818789, 0807571, 6610558, 5819097, 0410288, 0846342, 5810498, 0861916, 6310419, 0828598, 6318309, 0809949, 6316998, 3503661, 3514173, 0810300, 0804045, 0845643 & 0849474 has been kept withheld due to pending Court Cases.

UPSC Mains Final Result 2023

The marks sheets of all the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result [after conducting Personality Tests (Interview)] and will remain available on the Website for a period of 30 days.

  • Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in.
  • On the homepage, go to the What’s New section.
  • Click on the link that reads, “Written Result (with name): Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023.”
  • A new webpage will open on the screen.
  • Your UPSC Mains 2023 Result will appear on the screen.
  • Download the result and take a printout of it for future reference.
