Upcoming Jeep Midsize SUV to Use Citroen’s C-cubed Platform in India, Launching Soon

It has been reported that the vehicle might hit the market somewhere around 2026. However, the company has not revealed any details regarding the same as yet.

The U.S.-based car maker Jeep is gearing up to boost its mid-size SUV segment in India. The company is likely to introduce a new compact SUV in the market, which is expected to use Citroen’s C-cubed Platform.

It has been reported that the vehicle might hit the market somewhere around 2026, featuring the above-mentioned platform. However, the company has not revealed any details regarding the same as yet. Some reports suggested that it might share some hints soon.

ICE and EV Versions

The report says that the upcoming offering in the mid-size segment is likely to be released in both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and EV.  The former could be powered by an impressive engine option with decent power figures, while the latter could be offered in an all-wheel drive option only.

Expected Length and Price Range

Talking about the size, it is likely to be 4.3 meters long, the same length as the Kia top-selling product Seltos and Hyundai Creta. When it comes to the price range, we feel it might fall under the price bracket between Rs 15-20 lakh. Again! These are just speculations, a concreted details are yet to be out by the brand.

Once launched it will compete against top models like Seltos, Creta, and Honda Elevate among others.

Upcoming Bext-generation Compass

Amid this, the company is also gearing up to launch the next-generation Compass in India. The launch date is yet to be announced. It has been informed that the current model will remain the same beyond 2026.
