The ministry has also handed the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further investigation.

A total of 9,08,580 candidates appeared for the test on Tuesday (June 18), which was held for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD degree.

UGC NET June 2024 Cancelled Live: In the notice for the cancellation of UGC NET, the Education Ministry mentioned that the issue related to grace marks has already been fully addressed.

“As regards certain irregularities alleged in the conduct of the examination in Patna, a detailed report has been sought from the Economic Offences Unit, Bihar Police. Government will take further action, on receipt of this report,” the ministry said.
