TWO men were rushed to hospital after a bloodbath machete attack in a South Lanarkshire town.
The pair were brutally knifed in the early hours of July 31 at a property in Whinfell Gardens in East Kilbride.
The blood-soaked victims were taken to Wishaw General Hospital as cops flooded the area to search for the knifeman.
Police are still appealing for help to try and identify the blade nut.
One neighbour told the Daily Record: “It was a horror attack.
“I heard a blood-curdling scream and someone shouting for help.
“I then saw two young men injured and appearing to be hiding whilst calling out for the police.”
The resident told how hero neighbours desperately tried to give first aid while waiting for emergency services to arrive.
They added: “The street was then filled with neighbours who had run out to help.
“Some people were phoning for police and ambulance, others were giving first aid.
