The highly acclaimed film, which was released in 2018, is making a comeback in theatres on September 13, 2024. Tumbbad shows the main character, Vinayak Rao, played by Sohum Shah, and his little kid trudging through the night with a lantern in hand. The narrative’s arduous quest is hinted at when the two are spotted travelling on a treacherous journey. The poster’s eerie design, along with the menacing presence of a mysterious, shadowy creature in the background, emphasizes the horror they will face while looking for the hidden gold.

Rahi Anil Barve is the director; Adesh Prasad is the co-director and Anand Gandhi is the creative director. Produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L.
