Triumph Bonneville Bobber TFC Limited Edition: Here’s All About It
Each Triumph Bonneville Bobber TFC has a badge on the billet-machined top yoke that has its unique number. For an added sense of personalisation, the artist who paints the marble gold highlights also signs the bobber’s fuel tank by hand. Furthemore, The Bobber TFC gets an atheletic appearance due to side panels and mudguard stays that are composed of gloss lacquered carbon fibre.
A single floating black leather seat emblazoned with the Triumph trademark has been installed on the bobber. Additionally, it has suspension fork adjusters with gold-anodized embellishments and golden fork lowers. The ignition key and the gold-detailed billet-machined engine cover also feature this gold motif. The gold tint of the bike’s chain further emphasises the special edition model’s attention to detail.
The Triumph Bonneville Bobber TFC is powered by the same 1,200 cc parallel-twin engine as the standard model, but it has a revised engine map for better performance. Since then, the liquid-cooled motor has been adjusted to produce its maximum power of 76.9 bhp at a reduced 6,000 rpm. Down from 4,000 rpm, torque is rated for 106 Nm at only 3,750 rpm. The bike also gets two cut Akrapovic exhausts with carbon fibre embellishers and a six-speed gearbox.
The new Bobber TFC has clip-on handlebars with billet aluminium yokes. Featuring a twin-sided swingarm and a tubular steel cradle, the bike’s wet weight has decreased from 251 kg to 237 kg. Triumph says the bike is more responsive and agile since it weighs less than the standard Bonneville Bobber.
With a thin 19-inch wheel up front and a wider 16-inch wheel at the back, the Bobber TFC is equipped with spoked wheels. Twin 310 mm fixed discs and Brembo M50 4-piston radial callipers are installed on the front end.
The bike has dual-channel ABS and 255 mm single-disc rear tires with Nissin axial callipers. Its suspension system has been modified to include 43 mm ohlins NIX 30 USD front forks with adjustable pre-load, compression, and rebound damping.
