The news has been confirmed by the brand via official release. It says that the new milestone has been unlocked by the SUV, and emerged as one of the dominant competitors in the segment.
Price Range
Ever since Urban Cruiser Hyryder was launched in India, it has received an overwhelming response from customers. The rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara can be purchased at the starting at Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is available in both petrol and strong hybrid powertrain options. To attract the masses, the company has been offering the Hyryder in a factory-fitted CNG kit as well. It comes in two variants, with a sticker price of Rs 13.71 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powertrain
The tech-loaded Urban Cruiser Hyryder in strong-hybrid uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The unit generates an impressive power of 91 bhp and 122 Nm of peak torque. The power source is complimented by an electric motor, which generates an output of 78 bhp and 141 Nm.
The SUV also gets a 1.5-litre K-series mild-hybrid unit. This makes a decent power of 103 bhp and 137 Nm of peak torque.
