As the year is about to end in a month, here’s a list of the top cars that dominated the segment effortlessly in terms of sales.
Before starting the article, it is worth mentioning that the leading car makers Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai successfully took the top spot. The former has given tough competition with some of the new products, latter did not lose its grip and continues to fight back with top offerings from the lineup.
Maruti Suzuki Products
Maruti’s hot-selling product Ertiga is a strong product in the lineup. According to the details, the MPV reported impressive sales of more than 18.780 last month, followed by Swift with 17,539 sales figures, Brezza with 16,565 sales mark and Baleno with retail numbers of 16,082.
Hyundai Creta
In the mid-size SUV segment, the Hyundai Creta has become one of the top contributors to the company’s overall sales figures. The model has reported a sales mark of 17,497 in October.
The SUV comes at the starting price of Rs 11.00 lakh, while the top model goes up to Rs 20.30 lakh (all ex-showroom).
Tata Punch
Talking about the micro SUV segment, Tata Punch has gained all the spotlight there. It has been reported the company retailed over 15,740 units last month, which makes it one of the hot-selling products in the segment.
The Tata Punch comes with a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, flaunting a starting price of Rs 6.13 lakh. The top model costs around Rs 10.15 lakh (all ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon
Last but not the last, Tata Nexon. It has attracted a lot of customers this year, all thanks to robust features and good built quality. The company has that the model received an over 14,759 sales mark on October 11, and lifted the company’s overall sales figures.
The brand has launched the vehicle in multiple engine options including diesel, petrol and CNG, featuring the price tag for the base model at almost Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
