The Bollywood film is called as the worst movie, which has 30 kissing scenes. Scroll down to read more.
Bollywood has evolved significantly over the years. From improved VFX to sensationalizing romantic scenes, the industry has undergone considerable changes. In the 90s, if a film required a kissing scene, writers would often show only brief glimpses before quickly moving on to another scene. However, everything changed with the release of Emraan Hashmi’s Murder and Mallika Sherawat’s Khwahish. While many believe that Emraan Hashmi is the king of kissing scenes, that title is contested. Few people are aware that in 2013, a film by Shantanu Ray Chhibber and Sheershak Anand featured 30 lip-lock scenes.
We’re talking about 3G, starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan, which set records for the most kissing scenes and was described as an erotic thriller. Although 3G wasn’t particularly popular, it garnered attention because of its 30 kissing scenes, surpassing the 30 kisses featured in Murder.
3G Box Office Collection
Despite generating significant buzz, the film did poorly at the box office. It faced substantial criticism, earning a dismal 12% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is considered one of the worst Indian films ever made. Its IMDb rating is also low, at 3.6. 3G was a box office flop, grossing just Rs 5.9 crore worldwide and failing to recover its production budget.
Since its release, several films have tried to break 3G’s record, but none have succeeded. That year, Shuddh Desi Romance featured 27 kisses, and Befikre, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, included 25.
