An incredible European theme park has been dubbed “better than Disneyland” – and has hardly any queues despite more than five million tourists visiting every single year.
PortAventura, in Salou, Spain, attracts around one third of the visitors Disneyland Paris does – and there are often tiny queues, even for some of the biggest rides. The park – which consists of five amazing themed zones – is home to some of the scariest roller-coasters in Europe – but has something for all the family.
Tourists have raved about the theme park, which celebrates its 30th anniversary next year, with one writing on TripAdvisor: “This is much better than Disneyland Paris, the rides were super fun with short bearable queues (15-30mins). This park is well laid out and features many rides suited for all types of thrillseeker.”
A second visitor, from County Durham, added: “This is much better than Disneyland Paris, the rides were super fun with short bearable queues (15-30mins). This park is well laid out and features many rides suited for all types of thrillseeker.”
