- 115 grams of butter

Heat a pot of salted water on the stove top. Add in the fettuccine noodles, and cook.
Add the butter to a pan and heat over medium. Pour in the heavy cream, and mix until combined.
Next, add the parmesan cheese to the pan, and wait for it to melt. Once melted, sprinkle a handful of parsley into the sauce.
When the noodles are done, drain the pot, leaving a cup of leftover pasta water. Add the noodles to the alfredo sauce. Pour in a splash of pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.
