Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an intruder who came to his house with an attempt of robbery. The actor was rushed to the Lilavati hospital and underwent a surgery. As per reports, Saif was asleep when the accused entered their house. It was the nanny staying in their house that saw him and Saif came out to know what created the noise. Now according to a report, one of the nanny who was there in the house has said that this accused was coming close to Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Jehengir’s bed.

According to a report by Indian Express, a nanny named Eliyamma has narrated the whole incident in her statement to the police. She shared that all the members were in the house and they were sleeping in their bedrooms when the intruder entered the 11th floor. Saif and Kareena occupy the 11th and 12th floor in the building and have a duplex. Meanwhile, Jeh was sleeping in his room accompanied Eliyamma and another nanny, Junu.
Eliyamma was the first one to spot the intruder and saw him walking towards Jeh’s bed. She said, “When I tried to see who was there, I saw a person coming out of the bathroom and moving towards Jeh Baba’s (Jehangir’s) bed.” As she rushed towards the child to save him, the intruder threatened her and demanded Rs 1 crore. She shared that the man was carrying a weapon and engaged in a scuffle with her.
She added that Saif came after hearing some commotion. “When Saif sir came, the accused attacked him with the hexa blade and then also attacked Geeta (Taimur’s nanny), who had also come and tried to intervene,” she revealed.
The actor was then stabbed six times by this burglar and one cut was close to his spine. His doctor has confirmed that he’s doing fine and he’s currently recuperating in the hospital.
