Tesco, Aldi, Asda and Waitrose issue food warning as shoppers warned ‘do not eat’

Due to safety concerns, several major supermarkets have recalled popular food products over the past few weeks.

Food recalls are crucial for protecting consumers from harm, whether due to undeclared allergens or other potential risks. Retail giants, including Tesco, Asda, Aldi, Waitrose, Tk Maxx and dairy company Spoldzielnia Mleczarska, have all removed various food items from their shelves.

From soups and ready meals to granola bars and cheese, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has warned shoppers “not to eat” due to contamination.

The FSA has released the alerts, which include full details of the affected product and instructions on what to do if you bought it in-store.

Here’s a comprehensive list of key product recalls you might have missed over the last few weeks that shoppers should be aware of.
