PETALING JAYA: A student, who was reported missing since Aug 1, has returned home safely, say police.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Jaa’far said the 14-year-old boy, who was last seen on Jalan PJS 2C here in his school sports attire, had avoided going home for fear of getting punished.
“The boy was afraid to go home as it was believed his guardians would be called to the school over a fight,” he said in a statement on Saturday (Aug 3).
