After the technical issue was resolved on the ground in Sydney, the aircraft departed for Singapore at 4.19pm, said the SIA spokesperson.
It landed in Singapore at 10.24pm.
“SIA sincerely apologises to all affected customers for any inconvenience caused,” the spokesperson added.
“The safety of our customers and crew is always our top priority.”
