A TEACHER at Princess Kate’s old school slapped a pupil’s bum and sexually touched him in his dorm, a court heard.
Maths tutor Matthew Loxton, 35, flirted with the lad before the relationship got more intense.
In 2019, when the lad was 17, Loxton entered his room, “threw his clipboard on the bed” and removed the pupil’s towel, the prosecution claims.
Catherine Flint, prosecuting, said: “The defendant would engage in a pattern of low level sexual touching, using his hand on his buttocks to slap him and at various times run his hands up and down his leg over clothing.
“This touching took place walking up the stairs, in the common room and hallway.”
They said: “He pushed him against the wall, kissing him, biting his lip and kissing his body for about five minutes.”
The lad is said to have revealed the incident at counselling after leaving £45,000–a-year Marlborough College, Wilts.
He said of the relationship: “Ninety per cent of the time it felt uncomfortable but some of the time I liked attention.”
The lad said Loxton told him he was often on gay dating site Grindr, adding: “He would tell me about his sex life and who he was dating and and encounters, and different dating apps.
“He called me a ‘twink’, it’s a slang word for a homosexual male who is more feminine.”
He added: “The comments mainly focused on my ass.
“Sometimes two or three times a week.”
After the incident in the dorm took place, the former schoolboy said: “He would grab me more, slap my ass more, and comment on me more.
“It caused me to start drinking quite heavily after that.”
Loxton denies the charges.
Case continues at Bristol crown court.
