Tanushree Dutta has disclosed that Vivek Agnihotri refused to let her wear a robe or go back in the van while she wasn’t filming, while she was dressed in short clothes on set.
Tanushree Dutta shot to fame in the early 2000s when she co-starred with Emraan Hashmi in the romantic thriller Aashiq Banaya Aapne. She demonstrated her versatility in movies such as Dhol, Bhagam Bhag, Good Boy, Bad Boy, and a couple others. The actor recently disclosed her working experience with Vivek Agnihotri on the set of a movie. Tanushree Dutta was dressed in short clothes on set and yet she was not permitted to sit in the van. The ‘Speed‘ actor was also screamed at for arriving at the shoot only five minutes late, and she was made to wait the entire day without receiving a shot.

Tanushree disclosed to Faridoon Shahryar how Vivek Agnihotri had harassed her when they were filming the 2005 movie Chocolate. She disclosed that she was forbidden from using her vanity van. The actress further disclosed that the director infuriated her by forcing her to sit in skimpy attire and forbidding her from using a robe to conceal her identity. “Artists are supposed to rest in the van when they are not shooting. Especially, agar apne mujhe is tarah ke kapde diye hain – jo short kapde waghera hote hain. Main kabhi robe bhi pehn ke baithti thi to bolta tha ‘Nahi, abhi shot aane wala hai to isko utaaro’. Woh short skirt mein mujhe poori unit ke saamne bitha ke rakhta tha, ” she said.
As they spoke more, Tanushree recalled an incident in which the director screamed at her when she arrived at the set five minutes late, she revealed, “Ek din, jab main set par paanch minute der se pahunchi, to usne mujh par chillaya aur mujhe unprofessional kaha. Kabhi kabhi main set pe aati thi, jab lights bhi nahi lagi hoti thi, kuch set tayaar hi nahi hota tha, matlab jo set-up hota hai na, kuch bhi tayaar nahi hota.”
She added, “Lekin ek din main thoda late aayi, paanch minute, exactly five minutes, aur woh set pe tha sirf yeh dekhne ke liye ki main aayi hoon ya nahi.”
