A video going viral on the internet sees Taapsee and the influencer, Ananya Dwivedi, greeting eachother and shaking hands, post which Ananya requested the actress for a selfie.In the clip, Taapsee is seen politely turning down the suggestion. As the video went viral, Ananya commented on it, taking a dig at Taapsee. “That’s me. And I don’t understand why would someone deny a selfie when you’re already surrounded by cameras and the only reason influencers like me were called is to promote HER song! She really needs a better PR training,” read Ananya’s comment.
It seems like Taapsee initially went on to pose for a picture but was quick to suggest not to click the selfie on stage. Netizens were divided over this incident. “She didn’t do anything wrong, she has no obligation to give a selfie, plus there’s cameras right there for them to take a proper picture,” read one comment on Reddit.
