Netizens reacted to Suchitra’s tweet. Some found it funny, some had a different opinion. A user said, “I went to a nudist beach for the first time a few days ago but loved the experience.” Suchitra responded and said, “To each their own hai na.” A person responded, “I probably know that club name you went to, a few years back my cousin went there and he was in trauma for 3 days!”
Later Suchitra also opened up on it during a chat with Bollywood Hungama. She said, “I was there, I think, for around 20 minutes or a maximum of half an hour. It was an all-night party. There were many people but it was an invite-only bash. It was not a public event.”
Suchitra who was married to film-maker Shekhar Kapur earlier, has a daughter Kaveri Kapur. The actress also revealed how her daughter would react to her attending a nude party. “She doesn’t know yet. But she’ll be very chill. She keeps telling me, ‘Ma, you are such a prude. Just relax. Wear short clothes. Show some cleavage’! She’s the opposite (of me). She feels her mother is really stuck up. Hence, she’ll be happy I went for something like this. Even though I ran away in 20 minutes, at least I tried going,” said Suchitra during this chat.
While Suchitra is largely remembered for playing Anna in ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan, apart from her 90s pop music, in a recent interview the actress had said she’s exhausted talking about SRK. She had said to Mid-day, “Of course. Everybody knew that he was destined for greatness. I’m exhausted answering questions about him frankly. But cannot seem to avoid that either.”
