BRIDGEPORT — A 37-year-old Stratford man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Housatonic Avenue and Wells Street late Thursday, according to police.
Police said they responded to the intersection and found the man on the ground, unresponsive. First responders performed lifesaving measures on the man and transported him to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
According to police, a preliminary investigation showed a 44-year-old man driving a Toyota Camry north on Housatonic Avenue was attempting to turn left onto Wells Street when he collided with the Stratford man, who was driving an Italica Motor Scooter south on Housatonic.
