Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are reportedly set to tie the knot on June 23, 2024. Ahead of the couple’s rumoured wedding, Sonakshi spent an eventful Sunday with her in-laws. Taking to Instagram, Sonakshi shared a happy picture with Zaheer Iqbal, his parents, and his sister Sanam Ratansi in a perfect family frame. Now, the picture is making rounds on the internet.
In the photo, the soon-to-be bride Sonakshi Sinha is adorned in a vibrant co-ord suit, exuding a radiant smile. Zaheer Iqbal, donning casual attire, is captured posing alongside his family. The picture was shared by Sonakshi’s sister-in-law, Sanam Ratansi, on Instagram stories, accompanied by a heart emoji. Notably, Sanam Ratansi, a celebrity stylist, has styled numerous stars for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. Zaheer’s father, Iqbal Ratansi, is a jeweller and entrepreneur, with the family sharing a close bond with Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, several of Sonakshi’s friends and family, including uncle Pahlaj Nihalani, friend Honey Singh, and Poonam Dhillon, have confirmed the wedding is taking place. Additionally, the wedding invite of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal is out on the internet. The invite also includes an audio where Sonakshi and Zaheer can be heard speaking about embarking on a new journey.
Veteran actor Poonam Dhillon revealed that she received an invitation in a recent interview with Instant Bollywood. “I wish Sonakshi all the very best. She has sent a lovely invitation. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey. I pray to God she stays happy. She is a lovely, warm, and very loving girl. So I wish her all the joy and happiness,” Dhillon said.
Sonakshi’s father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha also addressed the matter and said, “I am neither confirming nor denying her wedding news. Time will tell. She will always have my blessings,” Shatrughan told The Times of India. “Sonakshi is the apple of my eye. She is my only daughter and very close to me. I am a proud father because, over the years, she has also grown as an actor. From Lootere to Dahaad to now Heeramandi, she has proved to be a fantastic actor,” he added.
“If my daughter is getting married, I will give her my blessings and support her decision and choice. Sonakshi has the right to choose her companion, and I will be the happiest father on her wedding day. I will always wish her the best… ek hi toh beti hai meri,” Shatrughan said.
