The couple recently returned from their “short and quick” honeymoon and even shared glimpses of their trip on social media.During a conversation with Hindustan Times, Sonakshi revealed the reason behind choosing Singapore as her honeymoon destination. She shared, “Actually, my bestie had a baby five days before the wedding so she couldn’t make it, so we decided to go to Singapore to surprise her and meet her baby and her.”
The actress, who shared her wedding video on Instagram, further talked about how the fans praised her wedding video when she and Zaheer went to Singapore. She said, “Zaheer and I went to Singapore and at the coffee shop, people were sending us congratulatory messages with pastries. Everyone who came to us and spoke to us was like, ‘Oh, we have seen all the videos from your wedding’, and I was like, ‘Yes, everyone has been a part of our big day. It was really sweet.”
Sonakshi married her long-term partner just two weeks ago, but she’s already back at work, promoting her upcoming OTT film ‘Kakuda’. When asked how it feels and how the feeling is sinking in, she quips, “I am very happy being back at work, I didn’t go anywhere, it feels.”
