Just a few days ago, Sonakshi, who married her longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, shared an adorable video from their wedding, offering fans a glimpse into their special day.The video opens with Zaheer signing the marriage papers, surrounded by loved ones singing “Sona Kitna Sona Hai” from the movie Hero No. 1.
The couple’s families are seen surrounding them, with Zaheer’s sister, Sanam Ratansi, tearfully witnessing the union alongside her husband. Actor Siddharth is also seen cheering for the bride and groom. In a touching moment, Sonakshi is heard saying, “shaadi ho gaye,” to which her friends joyfully respond, “Jija ji aa gaye.” The video captures Sonakshi getting emotional as she receives a hug and kiss from Zaheer.

Shatrughan Sinha recently shared a series of unseen videos and photos from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s inter-faith wedding. In one video, he and his wife, Poonam Sinha, perform Hindu rituals, with Sonakshi and Zaheer seated beside them with folded hands as a priest chants shlokas in Sanskrit in the background.
Sharing the video, Shatrughan wrote, “With an attitude of gratitude, we would like to thank everyone for celebrating with us on our special day. Sonakshi and Zaheer had dated for seven years before tying the knot.
