The fifth set saw a close battle between Khanh and Zeng, but the Singaporean held on to win 12-10.
“I am thankful for the support from the team, and with the confidence of having won the SEA Games gold medal, I managed to book my spot,” said Zeng.
“All the top players will be at Paris, so I would like to perform to my best and go as far as possible and leave with no regrets.”
